Datacation is a start-up located in the AI innovation center at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. With an enthusiastic team of econometricians, data scientists and data engineers, we help organizations create substantial and long-term value by making the translation between business challenges and the corresponding data. In addition to our technical knowledge, we also want to use our social side to ensure that the solution really has impact.

Function description:
As a Machine Learning engineer, you are responsible for the design, development, training and implementation of self-learning models. Your role is a combination of the Data Engineer and Data Science positions, as you will work on the entire process. The work is quite diverse, but can contain the following activities:

  • Working with cloud (computing) platforms as Azure, AWS and/or GCP;
  • The design, development and use of APIs
  • The design and development of ETL processes;
  • The development of AI/statistical models;
  • Optional: Visiting companies, talk with stakeholders and present your own results.

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience working with cloud computing-platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP);
  • Experience working with self-learning models;
  • A passion for data;
  • A MSc in a relevant working field;
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Experience programming in Python.
